DM Companion is in development. This policy covers this website and the early-access list. We'll update it before the app opens, and tell everyone on the list when we do.

What we collect

Early-access sign-ups. Your email address, which game system you run, how long your campaign has been going, and your confirmation that you're 18 or older.
Email you send us. Your address and whatever you write, when you contact chad@dmcompanion.com.
Basic technical data. Our website host may log standard request data such as IP address and browser type to keep the site running and secure. We don't use advertising trackers.

How we use it

To contact you about early access and DM Companion updates.
To understand what kinds of campaigns people run, so we build the right features.
To answer your questions.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Service providers

We use a few outside services to run this site and handle email, such as our website host, our email provider, and a form service for sign-ups. They process data only to provide those services to us.

Your campaign content

When the app launches, the notes and campaign material you put into DM Companion stay yours. You'll be able to export your campaign as plain markdown files and delete your account. Before launch, we'll describe in this policy exactly how campaign content is stored and processed, including any AI processing.

Age requirement

DM Companion is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, email us and we'll delete their information.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, or email chad@dmcompanion.com to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.
